Feed Lee's Summit - Replaces Empty Bowls Event - Lee's Summit Sunrise

Lee's Summit Sunrise Rotary Club is excited to announce a new event supporting Lee's Summit food pantries: "Feed Lee's Summit"! It is scheduled for the evening of November 14, 2019 (5:30-9:00 p.m.), and will be held at the John Knox Pavilion in Lee's Summit. Feed Lee's Summit is intended to replace Empty Bowls. Empty Bowls has generated over $200,000 in it's history, but with your help, we expect the inaugural Feed Lee's Summit to triple our annual contribution to the 2019 beneficiaries: Coldwater, One Good Meal, Lee's Summit Social Services and Meals on Wheels!
Feed Lee's Summit will have even more Lee's Summit restaurants offering delicious tastings of soups, breads and desserts. With the larger event space, tables and chairs will be available for everyone. With both live and silent auctions, you can expect a fabulous array of desirable items. Musical entertainment will be provided by Mizzou Idol Winner, Bre Lahane. So don't miss this night of food, fun and entertainment, all the while supporting those in need in Lee's Summit!
