Join Linda Puchbauer as brings to us Pam Stewart and Brenda Cressey Brenda Cressey, the first female to become a Chairman of the Board of Trustees, is the former CEO of Office Support Systems, a telecommunications business in Maine. She has served in many volunteer capacities with civic organizations such as the American Cancer Society. A Rotarian since 1989, Cressey served as the first female chair and vice chair of The Rotary Foundation. Before that, she held numerous positions in membership, the Foundation, and training. Cressey was a Future Vision RRFC Training Institute moderator, an endowment/major gifts adviser, Council on Legislation representative, RI president’s representative, 2012 International Assembly executive committee member and its partner moderator, district governor, and RI training leader. Cressey is a recipient of Rotary International’s Service Above Self Award, the Rotary Foundation Citation for Meritorious Service, and the Rotary Foundation Distinguished Service Award. Dr. Tunji Funsho joins the Plaza Rotary Club in a conversation about the eradication of Polio in Nigeria and Rotary's Polio Plus. An esteemed Rotarian and Cardiologist, Dr. Funsho was recently names one of Time Magazine's Top 100 Most Influential People in 2020. We look forward to welcoming him to share about his experiences as well as the great work of Rotary all over the world. Dr. Funsho is looking forward to another great opportunity to share our the experiences of our common goal to eradicate polio.

The Excelsior Springs Club is hosting a Grocery Grab on Saturday, December 12 at 9 am. Six winners will be selected from the 600 tickets on December 5th. On December 12, one winner will be selected to race for groceries and the other five winners will receive gift cards or gift baskets. Interested in a ticket? Funds raised will take the place of our two fundraisers we have not be able to do and will benefit our community giving and scholarship.
