Rotary Global Grant for Peace
The St. Joseph East Club gathered to celebrate the Rotary Global Grant for Peace at the Albrecht Kemper Museum of Art with representatives from education, community organizations, and Rotary.  Thanks to this Global Grant the community now has around 40 individuals who are now trained to improve the lives of youth who have experienced trauma.
World Polio Day
Rotarians from the Eastern Independence and Independence clubs gathered on October 22 with the Mayor of Independence, Eileen Weir, to sign a Proclamation declaring October 24, 2021 as World Polio Day in Independence.  This was just one of many activities around the District to support World Polio Day.
Thanks to everyone who supported the Dunkin' Purple Pinkie Day to End Polio Now.  When the final sales were tallied and all matches applies, we are at $1.3 Million Dollars.  We crushed our $1 Million Dollar goal and everyone involved is to be commended.  Check out the photo album below for photos from the day!
