Recently I have had a chance to make several club visits. I wanted to share just a few highlights from my time with District 6040 Clubs.

Kirksville and Kirksville Thousand Hills:

I went to the Kirkville Rotary Club with Marie Murphree, President and the Kirkville Thousand Hills Rotary Club with Marilyn Romine, President.

meeting at both Clubs.

I got a tour of Kirksville with Past Rotary International President Ray Klinginsmith and Past District Governors Ralph Cupelli and Matt Eichor. I was able to see all the projects both these Clubs have done for the Kirkville community and is truly amazing. I was also able to have Dinner with several members of both Clubs at the beautiful lake at the Thousand Hills State Park. No trip would be complete without getting to play a round of Golf with Ray Cupelli, Zach Springer and Jon Peck at the Kirksville Country Club! Just a great visit and thank you to both Clubs for their hospitality and all they do for Rotary.

Foundation Dinner

Mark your calendar for the District 6040 Foundation Dinner on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the Historical Elms Hotel. The keynote speaker, Mike McGovern, has served as the chair of the Rotary International Polioplus committee since October 2014. In addition, he served in many Rotary positions including Director and Vice-President of Rotary International and as a Trustee and Vice-Chair of the Rotary Foundation. Registration for the Foundation Dinner and online silent auction will open on Friday, September 30, 2022.
