Sigrid Solomon an independent diversity consultant and a frequent presenter at conferences on the topic of diversity leadership. She will speak during Saturday’s lunch. Sigrid has more than 30 years of higher education experience and serves as the VP, Chief Student Affairs Officer and Dean of Students at Wilmington College in Ohio.
She holds a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, an M.Ed. from East Carolina University and is currently working on her Doctorate through Ashland University.
Her passion and experience for community affairs have led to her becoming heavily involved in the local community and she was recognized in 2016 as one of the Outstanding Women of Clinton County. A Rotarian since 2003, she has served in a variety of capacities at the local, district, and zone levels. She served as president of two Rotary Clubs and as District Governor of Rotary District 6670 in 2019-20.
Sigrid was a member of the 2021-22 RI Director Nominating Committee for Zone 30. She also served as one of the 2022 International Assembly Training Leaders. For Zones 30/31, she has served as co-chair of the Diversity Advisory Circle, DGN lead trainer and DGE lead trainer. Sigrid is currently the chair of the District 6670 PDG Council and DEI chair.
