Friendship Exchange Team
Have you heard about the upcoming Rotary District 6040 Friendship Exchange with District 9210 from Zambia? We are going to host the Zambians here in Missouri in June, and will reciprocally send a team of around 4 to 6 couples (or singles) to Zambia in July (tentatively July 8 - 21). This is a great opportunity to experience a "Rotary vacation".
Any member of Rotary and their partner/spouse is eligible to be a member of the exchange. Our team will travel by air to Zambia and stay in the homes of Rotarians during the trip. Highlights will include visiting the locations of a medical global grant that is sponsored by the Lee's Summit Club, Victoria Falls, wildlife viewing at national parks, and tours of agriculture, schools, and industry. The projected total cost to participate is somewhere around $4,000.
